This Privacy Policy describes how Roddee ("Service", "We") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at https://www.roddee.pro, mobile applications, and car search services. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Policy is governed by Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").
1.1. Authentication. We use Apple Login as our authentication method. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your email address and name. We do not access your Apple password, iCloud, or other Apple services. Our use of Apple data adheres to the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and Apple's guidelines for Sign in with Apple.
1.2. User Activity. We collect search queries, viewed listings, saved favorites, language and notification preferences.
1.3. Technical Data. We automatically collect device type, operating system, browser, IP address, cookie identifiers, and usage statistics (pages visited, time spent, navigation paths) for analytics and service improvement.
1.4. Cookies. We use essential, functional, analytics, and performance cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.
2.1. We aggregate publicly posted car listings through third-party API providers. We do not directly scrape or collect data from platforms ourselves.
2.2. Personal data in listings. Roddee does not process or store personal data from car listings. Any contact information (phone numbers, LINE IDs, names) visible in listings belongs to the original posters and is displayed as-is from public sources. We do not extract, index, or use this data separately from the listing context.
2.3. Caching. Car listings are cached for a maximum of 4–6 weeks, then automatically deleted. Listings may remain visible temporarily after removal from the original platform. To request immediate removal, contact [email protected] — we will remove the listing within 14 business days.
2.4. AI Summaries. For lengthy descriptions, we generate concise summaries using AI. Summaries may contain minor inaccuracies. Full original descriptions remain available on the source platform.
3.1. To provide the Service: authenticate your identity, manage your account, deliver car search functionality, generate AI summaries, and remember your preferences.
3.2. To improve the Service: analyze usage patterns, optimize search algorithms, improve AI quality, fix technical issues, and develop new features.
3.3. To communicate: send service notifications, respond to support requests, and notify you of policy or feature changes.
3.4. For security and compliance: detect fraud, protect against threats, enforce our Terms, and comply with Thai law.
3.5. Legal basis (PDPA): we process data based on consent (Apple sign-in), contract (providing requested services), legitimate interest (improving and securing the Service), and legal obligation (compliance with Thai law).
4.1. We may share data with trusted service providers (cloud hosting, Apple for authentication, analytics providers). All providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it for the specific services they provide.
4.2. We may disclose information when required by Thai law, court orders, or to protect against fraud and security threats.
4.3. In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity with prior notice.
4.4. We do NOT sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, use your Apple data for advertising or AI model training, or use your data for purposes unrelated to the Service.
5.1. As a data subject under Thailand's PDPA, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion (within 30 days), export your data in a portable format, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
5.2. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] with your name, account email, and the specific right you wish to exercise. We may verify your identity before processing.
5.3. If you believe we have violated your privacy rights, you may file a complaint with us, lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee, or seek legal remedies through Thai courts.
6.1. We implement HTTPS/SSL encryption, secure Apple authentication, encrypted database storage, and strict access controls. No system is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.2. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you and Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee within 72 hours.
6.3. Your data may be stored in Thailand and other locations where our cloud providers operate. For international transfers, we ensure adequate protection measures and PDPA compliance.
6.4. Retention: account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Car listing cache is retained for a maximum of 4–6 weeks. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
7.1. You can revoke Roddee's access through your Apple ID settings. To delete your Roddee account, contact us at [email protected] and we will process your request within 14 business days.
7.2. When you revoke access or delete your account, you will be logged out immediately and your data will be deleted within 30 days. Some anonymized data and data required by law may be retained longer.
8.1. Roddee is not intended for children under 20. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact [email protected] immediately.
8.2. Roddee is currently in beta. Data handling practices may be refined as features evolve. We will notify you of significant changes.
8.3. We may update this Policy at any time. The new version takes effect from the moment of publication. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
8.4. Our Services contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
